Stunning Maldives
Stunning Maldives is a short, restorative four-day escape to one of the Indian Ocean's most beautiful island nations — three nights of turquoise lagoons, white-sand beaches and a resort all to yourself. Reached by a speedboat transfer from Malé, it is a gloriously simple holiday of swimming, snorkelling, water sports and doing very little at all, with an optional day exploring the capital. Perfect for honeymooners and anyone who needs the sea and nothing else.
Tour overview
The Maldives is made of 26 ring-shaped atolls formed from more than a thousand coral islands scattered across the equator, and this package is designed to let you simply settle into one of them. Beyond the arrival and departure transfers there is no fixed programme — the days are yours to fill with the lagoon, the beach, the resort's recreation, or excursions and adventure activities arranged on the spot. It is the antidote to a packed sightseeing tour.
Era Tours arranges the resort, the speedboat transfers and the meet-and-greet on arrival, in whichever category you prefer from comfortable to luxury and overwater. The plan below is our recommended flow — an easy rhythm of leisure with a Malé day and optional cruises and water sports — but everything is tailor-made around the resort you choose and the kind of break you want, whether that is a honeymoon, a family holiday or a quiet reset.
Your own island
A speedboat whisks you from Malé to a resort island where the beach, lagoon and recreation facilities are effectively yours to enjoy at leisure.
Under the water
Snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, jet-skiing, kite-surfing and banana-boat rides put the Indian Ocean's coral and marine life within easy reach.
A day in Malé
An optional excursion to the compact capital takes in historic mosques, the Tsunami Monument, Jumhoorie Maidan and its lively markets — a shopper's paradise where old and new sit side by side.
Day-by-day itinerary
4 daysYou land at Malé airport and are met by our representative for an assisted speedboat transfer to your resort. After checking in, the day is free to relax and settle in.
